Huawei continues to with its rollout of EMUI 10.1. Having already pushed its latest OS to 39 devices in China, the company has updated its upgrade plans for multiple other markets. We have included screenshots of the seven plans below, although please be aware that these only apply to devices that are factory unlocked. If you own a carrier-locked handset, then your device will likely receive EMUI 10.1 at a different point to the dates listed below.
Additionally, Huawei issues updates in batches, unlike some OEMs. Anecdotally, this means that it can take months before an OS update becomes available to download, including on flagship devices like the P30 Pro.
Having compared the last upgrade plans to the current ones, it seems that Huawei has now started pushing EMUI 10.1 to the nova 5T and Mate 20X (4G) in Western Europe. Similarly, the former is also now eligible for the update in North Eastern Europe. Moreover, Huawei has finished rolling out EMUI 10.1 to the Porsche Design Mate 20 RS in Russia and Central Asia, while it has started issuing the update to the Mate 20 in the same region.
Looking at the upgrade plan for the Middle East and Africa, EMUI 10.1 should have now reached all people with a P30 Pro, P30, Porsche Design Mate 20 RS and Mate 20X (4G). Huawei has now started pushing the update in batches to all but the Mate Xs too. Little has changed for Huawei owners in Latin America, where the company has now finished issuing EMUI 10.1 to the Mate 30 Pro. Some Canadian owners of the P30 and P30 Pro should have started receiving the OS update on their handsets though, while the rollout has finished for the Mate 20 Pro in Japan.
