The Huawei Watch Fit has received a new update that brings a few improvements to the budget smartwatch. On the one hand, Huawei claims that version 1.0.4.26 optimises the device's blood oxygen monitoring system to provide more accurate results. On the other hand, this month's update also adds moon phase information to the weather application card.
You can download the update to the Watch Fit via the Huawei Health app. Once there, you must select 'Devices', choose the device in question and then select firmware update. However, your smartwatch must have at least 20% charge before the Huawei Health app transfers the update. Huawei Central adds that the update will take around twenty minutes to install. You may also need to download the latest version of Huawei Health from the Huawei AppGallery, because Huawei has not updated the Google Play version since July 2020.
The Watch Fit has a 1.64-inch AMOLED display that runs at 280 x 456 pixels and 326 PPI. The smartwatch is also 5 ATM water-resistant and is available as Active or Elegant editions. As its name suggests, the Elegant Edition has superior materials, including a stainless steel watch case and a fluoroelastomer watch strap.
