Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro - hands on with the the noble smartwatch
Many details about the two watches had already been leaked before. Here are the official specs of the Huawei Watch GT 2 Pro in detail:
The round 1.39 inch OLED display has a resolution of 454x454px at 326ppi. The Kirin A1 chip works alongside 32 MB RAM, and 4 GB of storage space is available for music that the Watch GT 2 Pro can store and play offline, just like its predecessor.
Huawei installed an acceleration sensor, gyroscope, geo-magnetometer, barometer, and ambient light sensor, which automatically adjusts the brightness of the watch, into their new smartwatch. There is also a PPG sensor for 24/7 heart rate measurement and a sensor that, right from the start, can measure blood oxygen saturation (SpO2).
The wearable is waterproof up to 5 ATM, supports health functions such as activity and sleep tracking and supports 100 different sports - including, for the first time, golf. It also has a battery capacity of 455 mAh. According to Huawei, it can run for about two weeks on a full charge. Wireless charging has now also been confirmed, which was previously only available on the Apple Watch - but is now also provided by Huawei.
With a leather strap and stylish stainless steel case, Huawei clearly differentiates the premium watch from the recently introduced Honor Watch GS Pro, which was tested according to military standards and is the group's first rugged smartwatch.
The HUAWEI Watch GT 2 Pro will go on sale on October 2 for 299 EUR. If you order it between September 11th and October 2nd, you will receive a Huawei body fat scale worth 69.99EUR free of charge.
