Honor reveals the Earbuds 3 Pro with temperature monitoring features
At MWC, Honor has announced the Earbuds 3 Pro. The device will have true wireless stereo (TWS) technology and a co-axial dual-driver design.
The dual drivers include a dynamic driver, ~0.4-in (11mm) diameter, and a high-resolution ceramic tweeter. The combination of these drivers results in detailed sound with a wide range of treble and bass. The Earbuds 3 Pro also have a range of noise-cancelling settings using Adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (Adaptive ANC) technology, with a noise cancellation depth of 46 dB.
Honor claims that the temperature measuring features that the Earbuds 3 Pro will have is an industry first. The sensor can measure your temperature accurate to +/-0.3°C. When combined with AI technology, the sensor will allow the gadget to monitor your health and alert you to abnormal body temperatures.
Each earbud measures ~1.2 x 0.85 x 0.96-in (30.5 x 21.6 x 24.3 mm) and weighs 5.1g. Without the earbuds, the charging case weighs 42.6g and measures ~2.5 x 1.81 x 0.92-in (64.3 x 46 x 23.3 mm).
The charging case will allow a maximum overall battery life of 24 hours, with each earbud having at most six hours of life. According to Honor, the gadget’s fast-charging ability means a five-minute charge can provide two hours of playback time.
The Honor Earbuds 3 Pro will cost ~US$223 (€199) and will be available in two colors; grey and white. The product’s on-sale date is yet to be announced.
