Honor is gearing up to launch the Honor 500 series, which is expected to introduce two sub-flagship phones. The company has recently posted an official teaser, suggesting that the launch is near. While the brand didn't formally unveil the smartphones yet, a new leak has spilled the beans in terms of how they will look.
This leak, circulating from various Weibo accounts, including Digital Chat Station, showcases the Honor 500 with a design similar to the iPhone Air. The pictures show the non-Pro phone coming with an Air-like "camera plateau" on the back, but instead of a single camera, Honor's offering is shown to have two large camera lenses on the rear.
As for the Honor 500 Pro, it's shown to have a similar design but with three prominent camera lenses on the back. Digital Chat Station, a reliable Weibo leaker, adds that the non-Pro phone will feature a flat display, expected to be 6.55-inch in size, and large rounded corners.
The Weibo tipster adds that the build quality will feel very similar to Honor's flagship phones, and the non-Pro is expected to sport a metal frame and "a unibody cold-carved finish."
Past reports have suggested that the Honor 500 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Both are expected to sport a 200 MP camera on the back, and feature large-sized batteries, with one rumored to have a capacity of 8,000 mAh (10K Iniu Mini power bank curr. $26.69 on Amazon).
Regarding the exact launch date, the Honor 500 series will reportedly launch in China on November 24, 2025. The brand is expected to confirm some details of the lineup through upcoming teasers.
