Hisense is launching the 116U75QG (116") and 100UX (100") TVs in the U.S., both using Mini LED tech, 165Hz refresh rates, Google TV, and HDR10+, with multiple HDMI 2.1 ports and high brightness.

Hisense has released two new large-format TVs in the U.S.: the 116-inch U75QG and 100-inch 100UX, both equipped with Mini LED backlighting and advanced image processing. These models serve a specific use-case, especially for those who want large cinema-style viewing options at home.

Hisense 116U75QG

The Hisense 116U75QG features a 116-inch VA panel with Mini LED Pro backlighting, rated to cover 90% of the DCI-P3 color space and use quantum dot enhancement. Supported HDR formats include HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision IQ, HLG, IMAX Enhanced, and Filmmaker Mode. The native refresh rate is 165Hz, with Game Mode Ultra and up to 288Hz VRR, along with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certification for gaming. The TV runs on Google TV, powered by the Hi-View AI Engine Pro and MediaTek Pentonic 800 SoC, and comes with multiple HDMI 2.1 ports, USB, LAN, headphone, AV inputs, Bluetooth 5.3, and Wi-Fi 6. The audio system is a 2.1.2 channel setup. As per the Best Buy US listing, pricing is set at a hefty $14,999.

Hisense 100UX

Hisense’s 100UX uses RGB-Mini LED technology, controlling red, green, and blue local dimming zones for more accurate color and higher peak brightness. It achieves up to 8,000 nits brightness and reproduces 100% of the BT.2020 color space. The panel has a native 165Hz refresh rate, low latency MEMC, and support for the full suite of HDR formats including Dolby Vision IQ, HDR10+, and Filmmaker Mode. The Hi-View AI Engine X (also based on the MediaTek Pentonic 800 SoC) processes image and sound. The audio system is 4.1.2 channel, and smart features are built-in with Google TV. The retail price is $11,999.

As screen sizes over 100 inches rapidly gain traction, Hisense's new TVs imply the company's aggressive push into the home-theater segment. However, at such high prices, they are still niche offerings. Both TVs are now officially listed on Best Buy, however, the webpage shows their status as "Unavailable". Alternatively, you can check out the Hisense 100U75QG - now discounted to $2,297 on Amazon.
