The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max will bring plenty of camera innovations and a huge battery, according to the latest official teasers.
Three 200-megapixel sensors will be featured in a smartphone for the first time this autumn, and it will not skimp on other high-end camera features either. Current teasers for the Oppo Find X10 series, particularly the top-of-the-line Find X10 Pro Max already reveal quite a lot about its specifications, design and features.

The render above, which Oppo recently commented on, probably does not reflect the final camera design, but it is likely to come quite close judging by the teaser image below, which shows the official Oppo Find X10 Pro Max camera hidden in darkness. After Vivo dominated the past few weeks with daily teasers for the Vivo X500 and Vivo X500 Pro Max, Oppo has recently picked up its pace, particularly thanks to product manager Zhuo Shijie, who has revealed a wealth of detailed specifications for the upcoming Hasselblad camera flagships in recent hours.

Triple 200-megapixel camera confirmed

He also officially confirmed the first triple camera consisting of three 200-megapixel sensors. At its heart is the 1/1.3-inch Samsung ISOCELL HPC, which will offer a dynamic range of 17 EV thanks to DeepPix technology, roughly matching Sony's LOFIC counterpart in the Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max. In addition to the big f/1.5 aperture, Vivo has already revealed the main camera's CIPA 6.5 stabilization rating, putting it slightly below that of the Vivo X500 Pro Max with 3-degree OIS

200-megapixel telephoto with CIPA 7.5 stabilization

Oppo is going all out with the 200-megapixel telephoto camera as well, probably based on the 1/1.56-inch, 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP5 with an f/2.1 aperture. It is even confirmed to achieve CIPA 7.5 optical stabilization, slightly surpassing the Vivo X500 Pro Max's 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP0 in this regard although it is much smaller than Vivo's counterpart at 1/1.4 inches. Telephoto macro shots should be possible from a distance of just 10 cm. Finally, the ultrawide camera will also be based on a 200-megapixel sensor, once again measuring 1/1.56 inches and featuring an f/2.2 aperture. According to Oppo, it covers a 124-degree field of view, while light intake increases by 102 percent, presumably compared with its predecessor. The main camera's greater dynamic range can also be seen in comparison with an unnamed competitor in the short 4K60 video below, although it is was only available in 2K resolution on Weibo:

Huge battery and global launch date

Finally, Oppo promises a huge 8,000 mAh battery for both the regular Find X10 and the Find X10 Pro Max, at least in the Chinese version. However, since Oppo traditionally uses dual batteries, it will probably also be included in the global models. Leaker Yogesh Brar has already provided a specific global launch date. According to him, the “tentative” date is October 28, likely one month after the China launch, which is expected to take place later this month.
