The HP Omen 15 is a looker and a machine that's capable of delivering a fairly decent gaming experience. Customisation options are easy to use and it's comfortable for everyday use, but the gaming power is sometimes underwhelming, at least in the spec as reviewed.

The HP Omen 15 (2018) is a solid gaming laptop that delivers good gaming performance on the go, despite not offering anything remarkably different to its rivals bar a display that supports 144Hz (if you know how and when to use it).

The HP Omen 15 is fast in games and applications, and it has a reasonable screen and solid design – but the 144Hz screen may not always be used to its full potential.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 Mobile: The mobile GTX 1060 is based on the GP106 chip and offer 1280 shaders. Compared to the identically named desktop version it features a slightly lower clock rate. Games in Full HD and maximum details should run fluently on the card.
With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution.

15.60":
15-inch display variants are the standard and are used for more than half of all laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, often allows high resolutions and thus offers rich details on the screen, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact - simply the standard compromise.

With this weight, a laptop is rather heavier than average. Devices in this range shine more with screen size and performance than with mobility.

77.5%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
