The HP EliteBook Ultra G1i is the company's newest thin-and-light, productivity-focused laptop with Intel's newest hardware. However, the spec sheet doesn't specify which generation. Judging by the maximum of 16 GB of on-package memory, we're probably looking at a Lunar Lake chip, likely the Core Ultra 7 256V and Core Ultra 5 236V.
The HP EliteBook Ultra G1i comes with a touch-enabled (optional) 14-inch 2,880 x 1,800 OLED panel with a peak brightness of 400 nits and 100% DCI-P3 gamut coverage. Storage is capped at 2 TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD and there are no dGPU options available, meaning you have to stick with the Arc 140V or Arc 130V depending on the SKU.
Other HP EliteBook Ultra G1i specs include a 64 Wh battery that charges at 65 Watts, a 9 MP webcam with Windows Hello and AI features baked into it, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and four speakers with two mics. For I/O, there are two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, a 10 Gbps USB Type-A port, and a 3.5 mm combo audio jack.
Lastly, the HP EliteBook Ultra G1i weighs just 1.1 kg (2.3 lbs) and 12.1 mm thin. As a result, the laptop costs a pretty penny and will set you back by at least $2,019. You can buy it from HP's website later this month.
