This 6-inch phablet is powered by a 5020 mAh battery and a MediaTek MT6753 processor, features 4G LTE connectivity, and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI on top.

Gionee Marathon M5 Plus is a 6-inch phablet that made its debut in China five months ago. Now, it finally gets out of its home market and the first country to get it is India. There, the Marathon M5 Plus is available online exclusively via Flipkart, but also across various retail outlets.

Gionee Marathon M5 Plus has the following specs and features:

  • Processor: MediaTek MT6753 SoC
  • Memory/Storage: 3 GB RAM; 64 GB internal storage and microSD support up to 128 GB
  • Display: 6-inch 2.5D curved AMOLED with 1,920X1,080 pixels

  • Connectivity: 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS with A-GPS, micro USB
  • Operating system: Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.1 UI

  • Colors: polar gold, champagne gold

Flipkart's price is Rs. 26,999 - roughly $400 USD at the current exchange rate. Unfortunately, there is no information about the next market(s) that will receive this handset, but we will keep an eye on this matter and get back to it as soon as we find out anything new.
