Ghostwire: Tokyo is 80% off on Steam for a limited time
If you were unfortunate enough to miss out on the many free giveaways of Ghostwire: Tokyo and were holding out for a deep sale on the game, then your time is now. A midweek deal means you can pick up the game for 80% off for as low as $11.99 (€11.99 or £9.99) until January 20.
Released in 2022 and made by Tango Gameworks of Hi-Fi Rush and Evil Within fame, Ghostwire: Tokyo has you exploring iconic landmarks such as Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower, recreated faithfully in-game.
You'll deal with supernatural foes based on Japanese folk tales as you figure out what happened to the now-desolate Tokyo. The game also received a substantial update post-launch that added more abilities, side missions, and enemies, as well as bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. The reception for the game was mixed on launch but currently sits on a "Very Positive" rating on Steam.
However, If you don't want to deal with ghosts and want to shoot some demons instead, consider Evil West, which is 70% until January 27. You can pick it up for as low as $14.99 (€14.99 or £13.49). Made by Flying Wilde Hog (Hard Reset and Shadow Warrior), this unique beat-em-up/arena shooter pits you against a horde of vampires and gives you some ridiculous abilities to take them out.
