GameSir launches Nova Vision controller with built-in display, Switch 2 support, and a Nioh 3 edition

There are a handful of controllers with a screen such as the Anbernic RG G01 and the Asus ROG Raikiri II Pro. GameSir has now added to the list with the launch of a new controller called the Nova Vision. First released in China, the controller has now made its global debut, alongside a special edition based on a AAA game.
The GameSir Nova Vision's unique selling point is its built-in display which lets users change configurations, adjust settings, and check remaining battery life without the need for a companion mobile app or desktop software.
GameSir says the controller runs a custom operating system called Vision OS. It also says users can still use the GameSir app or the GameSir Connect software to modify settings. The mobile app and desktop software is also the only way to upload a custom wallpaper that will appear on the controller's display.
The Nova Vision features GameSir Hall Effect sticks, and not the more-advanced TMR sticks found on the G7 Pro series. The thumbsticks also have adjustable tension force like the 8BitDo Ultimate 3C+ ($39.99 on Amazon) and the 8BitDo Ultimate 3 (available on Amazon for $99.99); adjustable triggers so users can switch between Hall Effect analog triggers and micro switch triggers; ABXY buttons with membrane switches; and a D-pad with a tactile switch.
In addition, the controller, which has tri-mode connectivity (wireless, Bluetooth, and wired), also has two back buttons, a 6-axis gyroscope, dual asymmetric vibration motors, a 1,000Hz polling rate, and a 1,000mAh battery capacity that can be charged via USB-C or the included charging dock.
The GameSir Nova Vision is compatible with PC, Android devices, and the Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 (with wake function). It is available in White and Black colors for $54.99, but there's a Nioh 3 edition that costs $64.99 (available on Amazon). All three can be pre-ordered on GameSir's website; however, while the plain colors will ship this month, the Nioh 3 edition will ship in December.
