Lenovo releases new portable monitor globally with slim design and dual USB-C

Towards the end of last month, we got our hands on the ThinkVision M16, a 16-inch portable monitor with dual USB Type-C ports. For reference, the ThinkVision M16 follows directly on from the older ThinkVision M15. Now, Lenovo's new monitor is available globally, including in the US.
To recap, the ThinkVision M16 contains a 16-inch and 16:10 IPS panel that resolves at 1,920 x 1,200 pixels. Boasting up to 300 nits peak brightness with a matte finish, the display also offers an 8-bit colour depth (6-bit + FRC), a 60 Hz refresh rate and 45% NTSC colour space coverage. Incidentally, our tests revealed about 70% sRGB colour space coverage, too.

Similar to the Lenovo L16 and Lenovo L16a, the ThinkVision M16 supports up to 65 W charging and DisplayPort Alt Mode via either of its Type-C ports. As the screenshot below shows, the portable monitor lacks any USB Type-A or HDMI ports, though. Instead, it contains a Kensington Nano Security slot, as well as brightness adjustment, menu and power buttons.
The ThinkVision M16 officially sells for $249 in the US. However, the portable monitor can currently be picked up on Amazon for $233. Similarly, the monitor is discounted to £179 in the UK and €209-€249 in the Eurozone from £199 and €229-€279, respectively. Meanwhile, Lenovo has priced the ThinkVision M16 at AUD 299 and CAD 349 in Australia and Canada. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
