GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero loses convenience feature included in an accessory

It has been a year since GameSir launched a Zenless Zone Zero edition of its G7 Pro controller. The special edition controller is one of GameSir's most expensive yet, but it justifies that price tag with the several included accessories. Now, GameSir has announced a major change to one of the accessories.

The GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero edition comes with a carrying case that holds the controller and its charging dock. The carrying case offers protection against dust and scratches. It also has a Type-C port that aligns with the charging dock, thus allowing owners to charge the controller without removing it from the case.

Now, GameSir has announced that the G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero edition will come with a redesigned carrying case that lacks the charging function. GameSir says the new case is simpler and easier to use while serving its functions of storage and protection. However, the controller remains the same, and we expect the remaining accessories are unchanged too.

The GameSir G7 Pro Zenless Zone Zero Edition costs $129.99 (buy now on Amazon), and for that price, you get a controller that can connect to Xbox consoles wirelessly via a 2.4GHz dongle. The controller also supports wired connection via USB-C and is compatible with Android (Bluetooth) and PC (wired and 2.4GHz wireless), too. It has a 1,000Hz polling rate (PC only), Hall Effect analog triggers, optical micro switch ABXY buttons, four customizable buttons, and a 1200mAh battery.
