Recently, Samsung introduced its flagship Galaxy Tab S11 series, including the Tab S11 and the Tab S11 Ultra tablets. Now, the company has launched a new budget-oriented tablet in India. It is the Galaxy Tab A11, succeeding the Galaxy Tab A9, which launched in 2023.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A11 features an 8.7-inch LCD with a resolution of 1,340 x 800 pixels. The display supports a refresh rate of 90Hz, up from 60Hz on its predecessor. However, the new tablet has the same chipset as the Tab A9. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99, an eight-core processor based on a 6nm architecture. In our testing, the Tab A9 with the Helio G99 processor scored around 383K points in the AnTuTu V10 benchmark. The Tab A11 comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Notably, it supports microSD expansion up to 2TB.
On the back, the tablet features a single 8MP camera that supports autofocus. Moreover, it has a 5MP selfie camera. The compact tablet has a 5,100mAh battery with 15W charging support.
Out of the box, it comes with One UI 7 based on the Android 15 operating system. One of the key highlights of the new tablet is its long software support. Samsung promises seven major Android updates and seven years of security patches.
In terms of connectivity, the tablet supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. It has a USB Type-C 2.0 port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Tab A11 has a thickness of 8mm. It weighs 335g for the Wi-Fi model and 337g for the LTE model. The tablet comes in gray and silver color options.
Pricing in India is as follows:
- 4GB + 64GB (Wi-Fi): ₹12,999 (~$146)
- 8GB + 128GB (Wi-Fi): ₹17,999 (~$202)
