When Samsung released the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 earlier this year, both phones were available in three colors. Now, it has announced an extra color for both phones, which it is calling Limited Editions. It has also lowered the prices for the two devices, albeit in India.
The new color for the Galaxy A36 (read our review) is called Awesome Lime, and it joins Awesome Black, Awesome Lavender, and Awesome White. However, this new color option is exclusive to the 8GB RAM variants with 128GB or 256GB of storage. The 12GB RAM + 256GB version is available only in Black and Lavender.
On the other hand, the Galaxy A56 (read our review), which originally launched in Awesome Graphite, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Lightgray, has now been joined by the limited edition Awesome Pink. The new color option is exclusive to the highest configuration, which has 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Samsung has also slashed the prices for the two smartphones as part of its Fab Grab Fest shopping sales. The Galaxy A36 5G now starts at ₹25,999(~$293/€251), down from its ₹32,999 (~$372/€319) launch price. In the US, the Galaxy A36 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is available for $374.99 on Amazon.
Buyers will also be able to buy the Galaxy A56 5G for ₹35,999 (~$406/€346), ₹6,000 (~$68/€58) off its starting price. The new prices will be in effect starting at 3 PM (IST) on September 27.
