Deal | GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition available for half the price on Steam until next month
On November 11, 2021, Rockstar Games released GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas together as a bundle called GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition. Since these three titles were released between 2001 and 2004, all were remastered and received improved graphics and gameplay enhancements. Sadly, the bundle was heavily criticized for the art direction, character models, and multiple technical problems. Without updates for almost a year and still plagued by problems, GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition is now finally available on Steam and, thankfully, it comes with a 50% discount.
Although the games from this package are not available separately on Steam for the time being, the bundle has a full price of US$59.99 and is currently on sale for US$29.99. This deal will last until February 2. Those who purchase it should keep in mind that a 3rd party user account from Rockstar Games Social Club is needed to fully enjoy some parts of these games. In addition to English, the list of supported languages also includes French, German, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Chinese, Korean, and Spanish.
On the other hand, those who consider the GTA: The Trilogy Definitive Edition a set of completely outdated games should take a look at the ongoing GTA V deals available on Steam. In these cases, the discounts go as high as 75%. The Premium Edition & Megalodon Shark Card Bundle is down from US$114.97 to US$28.40. GTA V: Premium Edition is 63% off (US$14.98, from a list price of US$39.98), and the Premium Edition & Great White Shark Card Bundle gets a 67% discount (US$18, down from US$54.97).
