Despite rumours suggesting a GTA 6 delay, the game is still on track to launch in late 2025. Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick told CNBC in an interview that the game is on track for a Fall release, meaning we'll get to see it in action sometime between September and December 2025.
Zelnick didn't divulge anything more, asking the hosts to "look at the trailer". In a recent earnings call, he said, "We're seeking perfection. And when we feel we've optimized creatively, that's the time to release. And we're all in this together." GTA 5 has already sold 195 million copies, so the bar is pretty high for GTA 6.
Unfortunately, there's still no word about about its PC launch. If GTA 5 is any indicator, gamers may have to wait up to a year before getting their hands on GTA 6. But, the wait will likely be worth it as current-gen consoles might not be able to run the game at its full potential- even the PlayStation 5 Pro.
