Core i7 Ice Lake laptops launched late last year in limited quantities with high asking prices. The Razer Blade Stealth Ice Lake, for example, retailed for $1400 USD. Nowadays, most can be found on sale for $800 or less.
The latest price cut involves the 14-inch Lenovo Yoga C940 2-in-1 packed to the brim for $1300 on Best Buy down from its original launch price of $1600. It's the highest configuration you can get out of the C940 chassis with its Core i7-1065G7 CPU, soldered 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB SSD, and 4K UHD touchscreen. Lesser SKUs have only half the RAM, half the storage, FHD display, and a slower Core i5 CPU instead for merely $200 less on Lenovo's official website.
The Yoga C940 is Lenovo's latest flagship consumer Ultrabook that sits well above the Yoga C700 series and the mid-range IdeaPad series in terms of chassis quality and appearance. It's notable for having a handy integrated stylus recess unlike on most other convertible laptops.

If you don't want to invest in a fully-loaded Ultrabook right now, then there's a good chance that other Ice Lake laptops will pop up at reduced prices in the near future to undercut the incoming 3rd generation Ryzen U series of laptops.
