Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked August 5 event isn’t far away yet pretty much everything we need to know about them except for official pricing details has been revealed. The latest leaks show hands-on videos of all the upcoming devices including the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the Galaxy Tab S7 models, the Galaxy Watch 3 and the new bean-shaped Galaxy Buds Live. TechTalkTV has compiled all of the leaked clips into one video which shows all the key features being highlighted.
The Galaxy Note 20 range is the most controversial of the new devices Samsung is launching with the entry-level model using a plastic back for the first time in several generations and dropping wireless charging. Samsung’s unloved Exynos 990 chipset makes an unwanted comeback for non-US, China and South Korean markets (i.e. the rest of the world) after copping flak for under performance when launched in the Galaxy S20 line up earlier this year. Most of the rumored features are caught on video including the new wireless DeX functionality.
Also getting a good hands-on is the Galaxy Z Fold 2 which looks to have addressed the feature design shortcomings of the original, including adding a new ultra-thin foldable protective glass layer. It apparently sports a 120 Hz refresh rate for the main folding display but only a 60 Hz display for the secondary display on the front of the device. Also getting a close up look in the clip is the Galaxy Tab S7 range, which looks to follow very much in the footsteps of the Galaxy Tab S6 line-up looks wise, but featuring larger 11-inch and 12.4-inch displays respectively.
All-in-all, there really doesn’t look to be anything much Samsung has left to reveal during its live stream...
