All 385 TB of Myrient game archive has been backed up

Good news, game archivists: one of (if not the) largest online game archives has been fully backed up.
Last month, Myrient (a massive game archive database) announced it would be shutting down its servers on March 31st. Citing rising costs of hosting, drive storage, and more factors caused largely by the RAM pricing crisis, the team behind Myrient said they simply could not afford to keep the database live online.
After this announcement, many members of the gaming community stepped in to create a backup of the archive. That work has now been completed. All 385 TB of Myrient's archive has been fully backed up, according to Ill-Economist-5285 on Reddit.
Ill-Economist-5285 said that the team behind this backup is now working on "generating torrents and getting them available." The user also stated that an updated website will launch in the near future.
Myrient has long been the go-to archive for easy access of ROM files used in emulation. While these files largely live in a legal gray area, the service has largely been used to quickly download verified ROMs of retro console games, up to and including the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii U.
