Fitness tracker for pets tracks dogs and cats via GPS

The pet tracking specialist Tractive has introduced two brand new collars that are technically virtually identical, although the Cat 6 Mini is suitable for domestic cats and the Dog 6 XL for large dogs. Above all, these collars offer an integrated GPS module that allows you to see where your pet is at any given time.
Users can set up virtual fences in the corresponding app for Android smartphones and for the Apple iPhone ($775 on Amazon) in order to be notified when the pet leaves the specified area. The distance traveled can be viewed on a map to see how large a cat's territory actually is. LEDs and speakers that can be activated from the smartphone make it easier to track down a nearby pet.
The trackers also offer health and fitness tracking in the style of a smartwatch. Heart rate and respiratory rate are monitored as well as calories burned, time spent being active and sleep. A safety clasp ensures that the collar can be torn off the pet if it gets stuck. Tractive Cat 6 Mini has a battery life of up to seven days, Dog 6 XL has a battery life of six weeks thanks to a larger battery.
