Final Fantasy 14 Online release date for Xbox X|S finally confirmed
Square Enix, the developer of the popular Final Fantasy series, has finally revealed the release date for Final Fantasy 14 Online on Xbox Series X and S. The 2010 MMORPG title will be coming to the Xbox consoles on March 21st, which is only about two weeks away. The announcement was made in Xbox Partner Preview's March update.
The Final Fantasy franchise has been popular among PlayStation and PC players for many years. There had been many speculations about an Xbox release, and now that it’s happening, Microsoft is offering the game’s starter edition for free to Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. Users can claim this offer from March 21st to April 19th. The starter edition has the exact same content as the free trial, but users will be able to surpass the restrictions on levels, in-game currency, and more.
At the moment, Xbox X and S users can play the free open beta, which has been rolled out on February 21st. This beta offers free game up to level 70 with no restrictions on playtime. The open beta offers three popular titles - Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn (base game) as well as Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, and Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood, which are the first and second expansions.
