What can you possibly have in common with Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Kurt Cobain? Owning a Fender. The good news is that yours does not have to cost thousands of dollars – or require years of practice to sound decent.

Fender Audio is bringing its ELIE 6 and ELIE 12 portable speakers to US retail, priced at $299 and $399, respectively. They may look like premium Bluetooth speakers, but Fender has clearly decided that “just play Spotify” is not enough.
The smaller ELIE 6 delivers 60 W, while the ELIE 12 doubles that to 120 W. Both include built-in subwoofers, 48 kHz/24-bit audio, Bluetooth and a very useful XLR/quarter-inch combo input for microphones, instruments or other sources. In other words, the speaker playing the party playlist can suddenly become the mini PA when someone inevitably reaches for a guitar or decides they are the next Elvis in the room.

The ELIE 6 offers up to 18 hours of battery life, while the larger ELIE 12 is rated for 15 hours. Stereo and Multi modes are supported too, with Fender claiming that up to 100 compatible speakers can be linked together — because apparently one was never going to be enough.There is also 48 V phantom power for condenser microphones, quick charging and USB-C reverse charging.Fender first showed the ELIE range at CES 2026, so this is not a surprise launch. The real news is US retail availability.
