Bethesda's latest Fallout 76 PTS update brings the Gleaming Depths raid, giving players a chance to earn new four-star legendary weapons. The update also includes C.A.M.P. pets, player titles, and numerous tweaks to perks and events.

Bethesda Game Studios has released a major update for Fallout 76’s Public Test Server (PTS), available only to Steam users. This update sheds a lot of light on upcoming content for the full game, specifically the Gleaming Depths raid, which is a new endgame activity that needs teamwork to defeat hard-to-best enemies. The raid offers players the chance to earn new four-star legendary weapons, along with battling four-star enemies - a first for Fallout 76.

Additional features include player titles and numerous adjustments to public events, perks, and weapons. C.A.M.P. pets are another new feature coming to Fallout 76 with the latest update. These pets can be added to players' C.A.M.P.s (Construction and Assembly Mobile Platforms), which are customizable bases in the game. Players can already turn deathclaws into their pets in the game, so the mechanism isn't exactly brand new. Furthermore, reports from Game Rant state that pets will be able to passively farm resources for the user, and players can deck their pets out in apparel of their choice.

With all these changes, this is one of the biggest updates to hit Fallout 76 recently. This fresh content will likely further boost the player count for the game, which sits at 6,700 at the time of writing this piece.

The game saw a huge jump in its player count after the release of the live-action adaptation of the show in April. (Image source: Steam Charts)
