Even G2 Smart Glasses with 1,200 nits micro LED display now available

The Even Realities G2 Smart Glasses were announced four months ago, now the smart glasses are finally available. The glasses take a different approach to the Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses, as Even Realities has completely dispensed with a camera to protect the privacy of people around the wearer. Instead, the glasses are controlled either by voice commands or via the optional Even R1 ring.
Responses are not communicated acoustically, but are shown directly in the user's field of vision via a display. For example, navigation, an incoming notification or real-time data on the current workout can be displayed without this information being visible to people in the vicinity. The integrated micro LED display achieves a resolution of 640 x 350 pixels and a frame rate of 60 Hz, with the brightness automatically adjusted to the surroundings by a sensor.
The maximum brightness of 1,200 nits should also be sufficient for use in daylight. The display can only show the color green. The integrated battery should provide enough power for two days of use, and the charging case can fully charge the glasses seven times before they need to be charged via USB-C itself. In order to use the AI assistant, live translation or features such as navigation, Even G2 must be connected to a smartphone such as a Apple iPhone 17 ($775 on Amazon).
