With July 2025 now wrapping up, Epic Games has decided to outline its next batch of giveaways that will take the storefront into August. For context, this week's free games will remain available to add to your Epic Games library until August 7 at 14:49 UTC. Please see our corresponding article for full details about this week's giveaway.
When these deals end, Epic Games will replace them with another two titles that have been relatively well-received in their respective genres. Surprisingly, leakers did not get their hands on Epic Games' plans this time around. Instead, the storefront managed to keep under wraps that it will be dropping the game's 112 Operator and Road Redemption to $0.00 each from next Thursday.
For reference, 112 Operator currently costs $24.99 on Steam where it has achieved a Very Positive rating from over 2,500 reviews. Similarly, the game averages over 70% on Metacritic and OpenCritic for its exhilarating gameplay and often stress-inducing multitasking requirements.
Meanwhile, Road Redemption averages slightly lower review scores but the same Steam rating from a higher sample size. Also available on last-generation consoles like the Nintendo Switch and PS4 (curr. $24.99 on Amazon), Road Redemption is a modern take on the classic Road Rash series with singleplayer and co-operative campaign modes to choose from. As it stands, Road Redemption can be picked up on Steam for $2.99, although it will return to its $19.99 retail price before Epic Games' giveaway commences. Please see Epic Games' 112 Operator and Road Redemption store listings for more information.
