Dell introduces Vostro 13 5391 business-oriented laptops with gen 10 Intel CPUs

The small business Vostro laptop lineup from Dell is among the first to get updated with the freshly released Comet Lake-U CPUs from Intel. The new Vostro 13 5391 now features a lighter and sturdier chassis along with a discrete GeForce MX250 GPU. Users can also choose between 4 and 8 GB of LPDDR3-2133 RAM options and can add up to 1 TB of NVMe SSD storage.

Dell’s Vostro laptop lineup is also getting refreshed with the new Comet Lake-U CPUs from Intel. The first  small business model to feature the latest 10th generation Intel chips is the Vostro 13 5391, which now comes with a thinner and lighter, yet sturdier case, plus the latest entry-level discrete GPU from Nvidia.

Thanks to a chassis made of aluminum alloy and plastic (40% glass fiber), the new Vostro 13 5391 weighs only 2.6 lbs. As always, Dell is providing a base model, and users can opt to add more advanced features, depending on budget. Here is a list with all the features:

  • 13.3-inch FHD display with TrueLife LEDs and wide viewing angle
  • Choice between the new Core i3-10110U (dual-core) / i5-10210U (quad-core) / i7-10510U (quad-core) CPUs
  • 4 or 8 GB of LPDDR3-2133 RAM
  • UHD graphics iGPU + Nvidia GeForce MX250 discrete GPU with 2 GB GDDR5 VRAM
  • Choice between 128 GB/ 256 GB/ 512 GB/ 1 TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSDs
  • Spill-resistant keyboard, backlit option
  • Optional fingerprint sensor integrated in the power button
  • Stereo speakers with Waves MaxxAudio Pro tuning + dual array mic
  • microSD card reader
  • Port selection: 1x USB-A 3.1 Gen1, 1x USB-C 3.1 Gen 1, HDMI output, audio jack
  • Dual Wi-Fi + Bluetooth
  • 720p webcam
  • Hardware TPM 2.0 security system
  • 45 Whr or 52 Whr battery + 65 W power adapter


The new Vostro 13 5391 is expected to go on sale this week with prices for the base model starting at US$849.
