Model: The Dell Latitude 14 3450 is a entry level business laptop with a 14 inch display. It aims at users who spend their days preparing powerpoint presentations or excel sheets. The 14 inch display has a rather low resolution of 1366 x 768 pixel. However, an upgrade to full-HD is available in some parts of the world. Although it is not on the ultra-thin side, it looks quite good with its XPS-like exterior styling and weighs only 4.2 lbs (1,91 kg). The built quality of this laptop is quite good and it looks like it could take some rough handling.
Dell offers processor choices from Intel's i3, i5 and i7 and includes the integrated Intel HD 5500 graphics. The internal storage can be configured with up to 1 TB of hard disk and up to 8 GB DDR3L 1600MHz RAM. The Dell Latitude 14 3450 is lavishly equipped with input and output ports considering the fact that laptop makers are trying their best to reduce the number of available ports these days. It has two USB 3.0 and a USB 2.0 port, an HDMI port, LAN and a universal headphone jack. It is available with Windows 8.1 or the older Windows 7. As an entry level business laptop, the Dell Latitude 14 3450 is a perfect choice. Where its smaller brother, the Vostro fails, this entry level Latitude manages to pass with flying colors.

Above all, this display size is used for subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles. For all three types, this size is quite large. The biggest variety of subnotebooks is represented with this size.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.1.9 kg:
