Reviews for the Dell Latitude E7450
Evolution instead of revolution. The Dell Latitude is equipped with Intel's latest CPU generation Broadwell and wants to get the top spot in the business segment, currently occupied by the Lenovo ThinkPad T440s. What are the advantages of the modern 14-nm technology for the user and does the 14-inch notebook have any other highlights – we tested it.

Overall, there is very little that I can fault with the Dell Latitude 14 E7450. The solid chassis and long battery life should be enough to carry you through your entire workday. With its sophisticated design coupled with a comfortable keyboard, great performance, and high quality display, the Dell Latitude 14 E4750 is currently considered one of the best Ultrabooks available on the market for business use. We think it is definitely a solid option for professionals who are looking for a mobile workstation that is highly functional and packed with essential productivity features.

So, what are my conclusions about the E7450? The cooling system is noticeably quieter than the E7440 under the same CPU usage conditions although the fan noise becomes quite noticeable if you start using the dedicated graphics. Battery life under real world conditions is in the range that I had hoped for; I can reasonably expect 8 hours of mixed, but reasonably light, usage. The already good keyboard action of the E7440 is further improved (although the loss of dedicated Home and End keys is a small step backwards) and the larger touchpad is an additional enhancement in usability.

The Dell Latitude 14 7000 series (E7450) is a solid, long-lasting business ultrabook. It's designed to keep you productive, whether you are filling out TPS reports or designing your latest e-commerce site. Its 10 hours of battery life means that you can complete the presentation on your commute to the office, and still have hours of power for the presentation itself.

Overall, the Dell Latitude E7450 is a satisfying business Ultrabook. Its carbon-fiber/magnesium-alloy body is solid, and its 8.5-hour battery life should get you through most, if not all, of your workday. I also like the comfortable keyboard and fairly bright matte display. I just wish the bottom of the system ran a little cooler and that the audio quality were better.

14.00":
Above all, this display size is used for subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles. For all three types, this size is quite large. The biggest variety of subnotebooks is represented with this size.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.1.64 kg:
This weight is typical for very old and big tablets, subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles with a 11-13 inch display-diagonal; nowadays, rather typical for 15 inch laptops.
