CES 2020 | Dell Cinema Guide takes the toil out of searching for content over multiple streaming services
Dell has announced the Dell Cinema Guide solution, which has been created to expedite the search for media over numerous streaming sites. In this manner, a user does not have to trail through popular providers such as Hulu, HBO, and Amazon Prime Video one at a time but can utilize the Dell Cinema Guide to do all the hard work for them.
The Dell Cinema Guide will be made available from the Microsoft Store in 2020 and will be free to download, although obviously users will still have to pay subscription fees to streaming services that charge for their use. Dell states the straightforward-looking Cinema Guide UI will be able to search through around 200 services, and it can highlight free content for those who don’t want to subscribe to a streaming site.
The Dell Cinema Guide UI allows users to search for media using various filters, offers up descriptions of movies and TV shows, gives the option to rent, buy, or watch content if required, and it can catalog new or already watched content for the user. Dell Cinema Guide will be a welcome addition for those who already enjoy experiencing the Dell Cinema software on premium consumer laptops, and it will be factory installed on XPS, Inspiron, and G Series devices.
