While there were some excellent laptop deals during Black Friday, you might not have found one to your liking. Fret not, as retailers are running some juicy Cyber Monday 2025 promotions. This includes Best Buy, where you can now buy the latest Asus Zenbook 14 UX3405CA OLED laptop for under $1,000.
The Asus Zenbook 14 OLED is on sale for just $899.99, as part of Best Buy’s Cyber Monday 2025 deals. The resulting price is 30% below the $1,299.99 list price, making the Asus Zenbook 14 a superb multimedia laptop value.
The Asus Zenbook 14 is built around the powerful Core Ultra 9 285H Arrow Lake CPU with its 16 cores, a capable Intel Arc 140T iGPU, and efficient operation. The laptop SKU on sale also features 32 GB of LPDDR5 memory, 1 TB of storage, and a 75 Wh battery. There is also Wi-Fi and BT5.4, which we praised in our review of the laptop.
Around the front of the portable metal chassis, the Asus Zenbook 14 rocks a 14-inch 1,920 x 1,200 OLED display and an FHD webcam. The keyboard features 1.4 mm of travel and a single-zone backlighting. There is also a large touchpad with Microsoft Precision drivers and handy features like a virtual numpad.
Finally, the laptop also features a good port selection with:
- Two Thunderbolt 4 ports
- One Type-A connector
- One HDMI 2.1 out
- A 3.5 mm headphone jack
Asus has curiously left out a microSD/SD card reader. While the decision makes some sense because of the laptop’s target market, the presence of an SD card reader would’ve been a welcome addition. So, you’ll have to rely on an external card reader if you need the option.
The Asus Zenbook 14 UX3405CA is an excellent multimedia laptop overall. We had very little to complain about the machine in our review, with our key issues being the performance drop during sustained loads, soldered RAM, and a thermal throttling SSD. The soldered RAM shouldn’t be much of an issue here, as the SKU on sale already features the max 32 GB memory. Moreover, if you’re someone who needs the Asus Zenbook 14 for routine use, the sustained performance and thermal throttling of the SSD should also be minor inconveniences.
Looking at some of the key selling points of the Asus Zenbook 14, the laptop brings:
- A portable metal chassis that weighs just 1.3 kg (2.9 lbs.)
- A beautiful FHD+ OLED display with 100% DCI-P3
- Solid performance
- Good keyboard and trackpad
Moreover, thanks to the power efficiency of the Core Ultra 9 285H, the 75 Wh battery of the Asus Zenbook 14 also lasts a long time on a single charge. The laptop managed to endure for an impressive 15 hours and 23 minutes in our WLAN test.
While we’d highly recommend checking out our full review of the Asus Zenbook 14 to judge aspects like thermals, the gist of the matter is that the Zenbook 14 OLED is a stellar notebook for daily use. At $899.99, not many Windows laptops currently offer the same value.
