Cowboy Circular, an e-bike refurbishment scheme, has been relaunched. Customers in the Netherlands, France, Belgium and Germany can now buy reconditioned Cowboy 2, Cowboy 3 and Cowboy 4 bikes at a lower price. The bikes available via the scheme have either been returned by customers under warranty or were previously used as test bikes. The company renews the bicycles in-house, selling them via its website with a two-year warranty.
The popular Cowboy 4 or C4 model has a 45 Nm motor, assisting you at speeds up to 25 kph (~16 mph). A detachable battery can power the e-bike for up to 70 km (~43 miles) and recharges fully in 3.5 hours. You can attach your phone to the electric bicycle via a wireless magnetic mount to view step-by-step navigation. Plus, the accompanying app can show information such as your speed and distance travelled.
You can currently purchase the Cowboy Circular C3 for €1,890 (~US$1,992) and the Cowboy Circular C4 or Cowboy Circular C4 ST for €2,390 (~US$2,519). For context, the Cowboy C4 typically costs €2,890 (~US$3,046), meaning you save €500 (~US$527) with the Circular scheme. The e-bikes are available in a range of colors and can be shipped in as little as ten days. The company has also revealed that it has received B Corp certification, claiming it is the first e-bike brand to do so.
