Casio G-Shock x Channel One Soundsystem limited edition watch on the way

Casio and Channel One Soundsystem have teamed up for a new collaboration watch: the G-Shock DW-6900CO-1. Channel One is a well-known reggae sound system in the UK, which started in 1979.

The design of the Casio G-Shock DW-6900CO-1 watch uses reggae inspired colors - green, red and yellow - on a black resin background. On the upper watch strap is the Channel One Soundsystem lion icon. Plus, it comes with an exclusive Channel One key clip with a similar color scheme and the words ‘breaking down barriers since 1979’.

Also known as the DW-6900CO-1ER, this is a digital watch with an LED backlight triggered by a dedicated button. On the main display, users can view the time, weekday and date. The three smaller dials, or eyes as they are sometimes referred to, are linked to functions like the 1/100th second stopwatch and the countdown timer. Other features include a multi-function alarm, hourly time signals and flash alerts. It weighs 67 g (~2.4 oz) and measures 53.2 x 50.0 x 18.7 mm (~2.1 x 2.0 x 0.7 inches).

In the UK, the Casio G-Shock x Channel One Soundsystem collaboration DW-6900CO-1 watch will retail for £119. The company has yet to announce the release date of this product, with prospective customers invited to sign up to get an email notification when it becomes available.
