In countries like the Netherlands, Spain and Germany, you can now buy the Edifice EFR-S108DE-2AV (blue dial), EFR-S108DE-3AV (green dial), and EFR-S108DE-8AV (silver dial) watches for €139. Available via the brand’s online store, shipping in two to three business days costs €4.95, but is free for Casio ID members.
The Casio Edifice EFR-S108DE series analog watches have three hands for the hour, minute and second. They are said to remain accurate to within 20 seconds each month and also offer a basic date display. The textured dial is protected by sapphire glass and surrounded by an octagonal bezel. The bezel, casing and strap are all made of stainless steel. Plus, they are waterproof to 10 bar and should run for around three years on a SR916SW battery.
According to Casio, these slimmer watches are more comfortable to wear than other models. Each measures 44.8 x 39.9 x 7.8 mm (~1.8 x 1.6 x 0.3 inches), and weighs 110g (~3.9 oz). Casio has yet to indicate whether or when the Edifice EFR-S108DE-2AV, EFR-S108DE-3AV and EFR-S108DE-8AV watches could be released in the US or the UK.
