Camera samples of the purported Pixel 3 Lite surface
Word of the Google Pixel 3 Lite has been on the up for the past few weeks. Just last week, a Russian media outlet revealed photos of the device, which is always an indication that we could be getting close to a release. This time out, the same website has showcased what it claims to be camera samples of the phone.
The images themselves aren’t much to go by, as they’re compressed and don’t tell us much. They’re also mostly shot in fair to excellent lighting conditions—conditions in which most modern smartphones show capable photographic ability. That said, they do look nice.
According to previous leaks, the Pixel 3 Lite will feature a 5.56-inch FHD+ IPS display, 4 GB of RAM, 32 GB of non-expandable storage, a 12 MP rear camera, an 8 MP selfie camera, a 2915 mAh battery, and a Snapdragon 670. It’s said to come with a price tag anywhere between US$400 and US$500, which some would consider overpriced, since devices like the OnePlus 6 and Galaxy S9 can be had for about the same price. Of course, being overpriced seems to be a trademark of the Pixel phones of recent, so it really wouldn’t be surprising.
