CMF Phone 2 Pro is nearing its April 28 launch and the company continues to tease the design and specifications for the phone. The latest teaser shows the dual-tone design of the back for the orange and white colorways. It is unclear if there will be more color options at launch, but the two in the teaser show off the screw locations that allow for back panel replacement and attaching accessories.
The short teaser shared by the official CMF by Nothing account on X shows the orange and the white back panels with a lighter hue on the top half with a darker hue on the bottom. While the camera placement was previously teased, this is the first look at the complete back of the CMF Phone 2 Pro. It also shows the locations for the four screws that hold the back panel in place.
The bottom half also carries the CMF branding and regulatory badges. Like the CMF Phone 1, the successor is expected to come with a screwdriver. Accessories for the phone can be expected at launch.
Previously, the company confirmed camera upgrades and the SoC for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. It will feature a 50 MP 1/57" wide-angle lens, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle lens. As for the SoC, it will be powered by the Dimensity 7300 Pro which, as per the name at least, is an upgrade over the Dimensity 7300 present in the first CMF Phone.
CMF by Nothing had also shared camera samples for the Phone 2 with the text, “Built for light, depth and detail.” The cameras seem to be a significant upgrade over the first phone, even if the processor might not be.
