Bosch launches new Eyes Outdoor Camera II with bright floodlight
Bosch has launched the Eyes Outdoor Camera II in various European countries. The two-in-one security device provides a motion-triggered light and a full HD camera. The camera has a 145° angle, uses DualRadar sensors to detect motion and can differentiate between humans and other moving objects.
The Eyes Outdoor Camera II has three lights: at the front, on the top and bottom. The front light delivers up to 1,100 lumens brightness, triggered by movement detected within a 180° radius. The lights can be controlled individually, with over 1,500 colors on offer. You can control the device via the Bosch Smart Home app, through which you can also receive notifications of motion detected on your property. Plus, the product can act as an intercom thanks to a built-in microphone and speakers, and you can manually start flashing red lights and a 75dB alarm from the app if you are notified of an intruder.
Bosch states that no subscription is required, with the last 100 video clips automatically saved for up to seven days. However, you could opt for a Cloud+ subscription for more storage. With the same design as its predecessor, the company notes that it won a Red Dot Best of the Best Award in 2023. You can now buy the Bosch Eyes Outdoor Camera II in countries including the UK, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Germany. The smart home product costs €359.95/£319.42/4,615.54 SEK.
