The brand-new Boox Tab X C is now available for purchase. Specifically, it can be ordered at Boox's official online store for the US, but the tablet is still out of stock in the manufacturer’s shop for European customers. For $819, the Android device will be shipped directly from the US starting May 13. Alternatively, the Tab X C can be ordered from Hong Kong for a discounted price of $759, in which case potential import duties are not included and may have to be paid separately.
Either way, the Boox Tab X C is an Android tablet with an e-ink display that’s based on a 13.3-inch Kaleido 3 panel with 4096 colors and a resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels. Black and white screen content can be displayed at 3200 x 2400 pixels, so twice the pixel density.
The InkSpire stylus with 4096 levels of pressure is supported, and the Boox tablet is equipped with 128GB of mass storage and runs on Android 13, which grants access to countless apps. Moreover, the tablet weighs 22 oz and is around 0.2 inches thick. It also sports two speakers, a microphone and a 5,500mAh battery. Last but not least, WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 are supported as well.
