BenQ has presented three new gaming monitors as part of its Gamescom 2022 showcase. Billed as the MOBIUZ EX270M, MOBIUZ EX270QM and the MOBIUZ EX480UZ, all three are high-end gaming monitors with impressive specifications. As it stands, BenQ will begin offering the trio in September and October at the following prices:
- MOBIUZ EX270M: €399
- MOBIUZ EZ270QM: €799
- MOBIUZ EX480UZ: €1,999
Unsurprisingly, the MOBIUZ EX480UZ is the most advanced of the three monitors. Seemingly, the MOBIUZ EX480UZ relies on an LG OLED panel, with BenQ describing it as having a 48-inch display that operates at 4K, 120 Hz and with 0.1 ms response times. Additionally, the MOBIUZ EX480UZ offers 10-bit colour, True Black HDR 400 certification, AMD FreeSync Premium support, a KVM switch and BenQ's HDRi technology.
Meanwhile, the MOBIUZ EX270M and MOBIUZ EX270QM are the first in the series to deliver 240 Hz refresh rates with 1 ms GtG response times. For reference, the MOBIUZ EX270M has a 27-inch IPS panel with a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel panel, HDRi technology and AMD FreeSync Premium support. Moreover, the monitor features 2.1 speakers and a 5 W subwoofer developed by treVolo.
In comparison, the BenQ EX270QM has a 2,560 x 1,440-pixel native resolution (QHD), also spread across a 27-inch panel. Furthermore, the IPS panel comes VESA DisplayHDR 600 certified for up to 600 nits of peak brightness when viewing HDR content. BenQ has included HDMI 2.1 connectivity for compatibility with current-generation consoles, too. Similarly, the MOBIUZ EX270QM delivers a 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms response times (GtG) and supports AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. You can find more details about all three monitors on BenQ's website.
