Backbone and Kith have partnered to release a limited edition Backbone Pro controller. The controller has a white translucent shell and will be available to buy starting on December 5.

It has only been a few weeks following the launch of the Backbone Pro Xbox Edition, and now Backbone is back with another special edition of the telescopic mobile controller. This time, it has partnered with the American fashion brand, Kith, on a limited-edition Backbone Pro controller.

This limited-edition Backbone Pro controller features a white translucent chassis and light gray buttons (except the Backbone button) with white text. The clamp features a Kith motif and Backbone's branding in bold white text. The controller has an Xbox layout, unlike the Backbone One Death Stranding 2 Edition, which has a PlayStation layout.

The Kith x Backbone Pro will ship in a premium Kith packaging and will be sold exclusively on Kith's website when it becomes available on Friday, December 5, at 11 AM EST. Backbone says the controller will be available in “extremely limited” quantities, but didn't reveal how much it will cost.

Nevertheless, aside from the color and special packaging, it should be no different from the standard Backbone Pro, which is $169.99 on Amazon, or the Backbone Pro Xbox Edition, which is sold for $179.99. The controller connects to smartphones via a USB-C port but can also be used as a Bluetooth controller for smartphones, tablets, PCs, and TVs. In Bluetooth mode, it relies on an internal battery that provides up to 40 hours of use on a single charge.
