A few days have passed since Ayaneo finally revealed the Pocket Ace. Previously, the company had only been sharing cryptic teasers about the device, which it delivered in the midst of detailing its Pocket S2 flagship.
Subsequently, the company has published a short video in which the Pocket Ace can be seen in action for the first time. Please note that while the video clocks in at over 5:30 minutes, less than 4 minutes is of Pocket Ace footage. Surprisingly, Ayaneo used part of this video to showcase 'device spoofing', a feature of Ayaneo Space that allows the Pocket Ace to pretend it is an Android smartphone like the Xiaomi 14 Pro, ROG Phone 8 Pro or the Galaxy S24 Ultra (curr. $773 - renewed on Amazon).
Embedded below, the video also runs through many of the specifications that Ayaneo showcased last week. To recap, the Pocket Ace will eventually reach Indiegogo with a Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chipset used across other recent Ayaneo gaming handhelds, plus a 6,000 mAh battery and a 4.5-inch IPS display that resolves at 1,620 x 1,080 pixels in a 3:2 aspect ratio. Please see our original launch article for more technical details. Unfortunately, Ayaneo has not clarified when the Pocket Ace will be available yet.
