Although their availability and pricing might upset some potential customers, the five brand-new video cards by Asus that take the reference NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti design to a whole new level look quite tempting. As usual, each member of the lineup has a clear role and is designed with a different type of system build in mind.
Without further ado, here are the aforementioned five video cards and their highlights:
- ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3060 Ti: The "biggest and boldest air cooling system" designed by Asus so far and dual-mode BIOS, both modes offering semi-passive cooling, addressable RGB LED array.
- TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3060 Ti: Stealthy looks with a brushed-aluminum cooler shroud with discrete RGB LED lighting, dual-BIOS, as well as semi-passive cooling, Auto-Extreme assembly technology, military-grade capacitors.
- Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti and the custom-made Dual GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Mini:Dual Axial-tech fans for a more compact design that fits virtually all regular builds, respectively a custom board that fits the Intel NUC 9 Extreme and NUC 9 Pro PC kits.
- KO GeForce RTX 3060 Ti: A pair of Axial-tech fans, RGB LED accents into the metallic faceplates on the cooler shroud, as well as an illuminated Asus logo on the left edge.
Unfortunately, these designs could be up to 60% more expensive than the US$399 price of the reference design announced by NVIDIA. To find out more about the local prices and availability, feel free to get in touch with your local Asus partners.

In my early school days, I hated writing and having to make up stories. A decade later, I started to enjoy it. Since then, I published a few offline articles and then I moved to the online space, where I contributed to major websites that are still present online as of 2021 such as Softpedia, Brothersoft, Download3000, but I also wrote for multiple blogs that have disappeared over the years. I've been riding with the Notebookcheck crew since 2013 and I am not planning to leave it anytime soon. In love with good mechanical keyboards, vinyl and tape sound, but also smartphones, streaming services, and digital art.
