Asus launches ROG USB-C dongle with fast Ethernet port and wide compatibility

Asus has launched a new USB-C accessory in China, the USB-C10G, which seems to be already available in other markets. It's a Type-C to 10G Ethernet port adapter that can stand as an easy networking upgrade in many setups, including NAS.
Speaking of which, Asus highlights that the USB-C dongle is widely compatible. It can be connected to a tablet, desktop, mobile, laptop, or a gaming handheld. The adapter itself has a Type-C female port, and it comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable that has a Type-C to Type-A adapter on one end.
Its Type-C female port has a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface, which has a theoretical transfer rate of 20Gbps. So, the 10GbE port shouldn't see any bottlenecks due to fast transfer lanes.
The company further highlights the portable design of the Asus ROG USB-C10G. It has a smooth, curved design, and it's said to weigh only 38 grams (about 0.084lbs). The adapter also appears to be pretty versatile, as it can act like an additional WAN port for compatible Asus routers (RT-BE92U curr. $196.99 on Amazon).
In China, the ROG USB-C10G has a launch price of CNY 799, about $118. It seems that the Type-C Ethernet adapter is already available in other regions, but it doesn't appear to be available in the US yet.
