The Asus ROG Zephyrus M GU502 is for you if you're seeking a new 15.6-inch laptop that's both capable and portable. Whether it's performing bulk image exports on Adobe Lightroom or playing the newest iteration of the rebooted Tomb Raider video game series, Asus' new Zephy is at home. Series: The Asus Zephyrus M GU502 is a state-of-the-art architecture brought forth into existence to tackle the most arduous and gruesome tasks on a singular but reliable platform. It is an exemplary hallmark of technological prowess meeting with practical portability all combined together into one. Its seemingly dense exterior belies its considerable lightweight property and on top of that the Asus Zephyrus M GU502 also centers its impeccable performance on fine gaming. It holds the record for being 45 % lighter compared to previous Zephyrus laptop models. The Asus Zephyrus M GU502 is merely 18.9 millimeters thin for a gaming laptop with powered performance and is attested to be 15 % thinner than the averaged median of 15-inch laptops across the market. The exterior of the Asus Zephyrus M GU502 is constructed of reinforced magnesium-alloy chassis, which makes it very resilient against the occasional wear and tear accumulated from our day to day activities, coupled with a palm rest which is believed to be soft to the touch as a finishing accompaniment to complete the desirous clean and immaculate look.

The Asus Zephyrus M’s lighter and thinner overall structure does not undermine the excellence of its true actual performance. With Windows 10 Pro as its base operating system, the performance rate of the Asus Zephyrus M GU502 is further established and amplified through the integration of powerful 9th generation Intel Core processors paired with NVIDIA GeForce 1660Ti graphics unit. The NVIDIA GeForce 1660Ti graphics processing unit can achieve up to a shocking 1,425 MHz at 90 W upon the activation of Turbo mode. These powerhouse components are further accompanied and bolstered by the vastness in memory up to 32 GB of DDR4-2666 RAM as well as 1 TB of superfast RAID 0 SSD storage. These set of equipment highly suggests to the fact that any potential lethargy or sluggishness in performance when operating the Asus Zephyrus M (GU502) with burdensome tasks are almost non-existent. With plenty of ample memory space for the processors to navigate and operate through, the Asus Zephyrus M GU502 can easily handle any task that is thrown at its way. In terms of design, a gaming themed aesthetic is adopted in order to further highlight the identity of the Asus Zephyrus M GU502 laptop model. The design of the keyboard distinguishes the Asus Zephyrus M from other existing gaming laptops. For instance, the function keys are spaced and categorized into a certain area for ease of identification whereas hotkeys commonly referred are easily within reach. The key controls on the keyboard can be highlighted with LED backlight, which can be personally configured for ease of reference and compatibility depending on the game title or task at hand. This inclusion of personal customization can potentially improve the quality of life for users who consistently boot up the same program over the days of the week.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (Laptop): Mid range dedicated graphics card for laptops based on the desktop GTX 1660 Ti and therefore the Turing architecture without raytracing and Tensor cores. The performance of the Max-P variant should be similar to an older GTX 1070. With these GPUs you are able to play modern and demanding games fluently at medium detail settings and HD resolution. » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.
Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
9750H: On Coffee Lake architecture based processor for big and heavy laptops. Integrates six processor cores clocked at 2.6 - 4.5 GHz (4 GHz with 6 cores) that support HyperThreading. Manufactured in an improved 14nm process (14nm++). » Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.
15.6":

15-16 inch is a standard display size for laptops and offers the biggest variety of products.

1.99 kg:

This weight is typical for very big tablets, subnotebooks, ultrabooks and convertibles with a 11-13 inch display-diagonal.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated, a Taiwanese multinational company, produces motherboards, graphics cards, optical drives, PDAs, computer monitors, notebook computers, servers, networking products, mobile phones, computer cases, computer components, and computer cooling systems. The company's 2007 revenues reached US$6.9 billion. ASUS also produces components for other manufacturers. The Eee PC initiated the netbook boom in 2008.

In the notebook sector, Asus had a global market share of about 11% from 2014-2016, making it the fourth largest laptop manufacturer. In the smartphone sector, Asus is not among the Top 5 and has only a small market share (as of 2016).
