At a starting price tag of Rs 76,990, Asus ZenBook Flip UX362F has a lot going for it, like good build quality, compact and lightweight form factor, vivid and bright display and reliable performance for day-to-day productive use. However, there are a few limitations as well starting from super reflective display, average battery life and limited port selection.

All-in-all, as long as Asus keeps the pricing and quality-control in check, the Zenbook Flip UX362 is going to be one of the nicer 2-in-1 ultraportables you’ll find in stores in the months to come. That dim screen remains a significant cave-eat though, and something you should carefully consider if you know you’re going to use your computer outdoors or in bright office environments.

First of all, it has a beautiful touchscreen display with a panel (AUO B133HAN05.C (AUO5C2D)) that is capable of producing very accurate colors (in order to take advantage of that you need to install the Gaming and Web design profile). Additionally, it doesn’t use PWM for brightness adjustment and covers around 97% of sRGB. Certainly, a great deal, until we tried drawing on the thing. Well, the ASUS Pen itself has 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, and the display doesn’t suffer from a huge parallax effect. However, as soon as you place your hand on the screen when drawing, the touch sensors prioritize the inputs from your palm over those from the Pen. This makes it kind of frustrating to use this laptop’s most exciting feature.

At Rs 86,990, Asus ZenBook Flip 13 doesn’t come cheap. As I mentioned at the beginning, the convertible laptop is for those who want the best of both worlds. I don’t like the idea of a laptop that could become a tablet. But I have seen people using a 2-in-1 laptop with a stylus for note-taking. If you are someone who wants maximum value out of a single device, I won’t stop you from buying the ZenBook Flip 13. That said, there is nothing particularly wrong with this laptop. It’s a powerful machine at the end of the day, and of course, features a 360-degree hinge, a touchscreen, and a stylus. I’m not saying you shouldn’t buy a convertible laptop, just that you should think about how it serves the purpose.

This leads to wobbles when you touch it, which is unfortunate for a touchscreen device. And with that, we go to the last issue – you will be having a hard time using the laptop as a tablet. Why? Because you can’t open the display to the maximum amount, as it stays about 10-degrees off. This means that every time you tap the display or try drawing with the Pen, the screen tries to touch the bottom panel, which results in wobbles and instability.

The ZenBook Flip 13 UX363 is a laptop that is very reminiscent of the ZenBook Flip S UX371 that we reviewed a few months ago. But, there are a few major differences between these two laptops.

After using the ASUS ZenBook Flip 13 OLED for a little more than two weeks, I feel like it is probably more suited for those who are more artistic than yours truly. The stylus support lets you draw on the sweet touchscreen and the wide color gamut support will also let you express yourself better in color. It is a great laptop if you want to take advantage of that.

The Asus ZenBook Flip 13 is a beautiful laptop that offers decent battery life, very good graphics, and a lot of pep for most of what you’d do on a small 13-inch convertible laptop. It's also the first laptop to remove the headphone jack, and that has us worried.

In the end, it all boils down to if you can accept the imperfections which we’ve mentioned – (1) larger screen bezels than its predecessor and (2) awkward keyboard layout. If compute performance and all-day battery life is all what you care about, there’s no doubt that the ASUS ZenBook Flip 13 UX363 will be adequate.

If you're looking for a premium 2-in-1 laptop that feels snappy and runs silently with everyday use, a device that lasts for a fair while on a charge and doesn't cost an arm and a leg, this ZenBook Flip UX363 should be on your list, especially in the more affordable i5/IPS configurations. However, if you're looking for a beefy Tiger Lake ultrabook that can handle games and demanding loads, or if you've got big hands, this might not be for you, for reasons that we'll explain in the article down below.

The ZenBook Flip 13 from Asus is an ultra-compact 13-inch convertible with an excellent OLED display. However, the compact design doesn't mean that you have to sacrifice performance, because Intel's latest Tiger Lake SoCs provide enough power. This detailed review with numerous measurements and benchmarks will reveal how well the device performed in our benchmark circuit.

Asus: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. is a major Taiwanese computer hardware manufacturer based in Taipei, founded in 1989. Under the Asus brand name, the company manufactures a wide range of products, including laptops, desktops, motherboards, graphics cards, monitors, smartphones and networking equipment, complete systems and PC components for end users.
Under the ROG (Republic of Gamers) brand name, ASUS manufactures gaming laptops known by gamers for their powerful specifications, dedicated graphics cards, high refresh rate displays and advanced cooling systems.
Beyond gaming, a wide range of notebooks are offered for different needs and budgets, from ultra-slim and lightweight ultrabooks to versatile 2-in-1 convertibles and budget-friendly options. In 2023, Asus had a 7% global market share of the PC market.
Customer satisfaction with ASUS notebooks concerns performance, the features, and the good price-performance ratio of ASUS notebooks. However, as with any brand, there are occasional reports of problems such as overheating, driver compatibility, or build quality issues.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
Intel UHD Graphics 620: Integrated GPU (GT2, 24 EUs) found on some Kaby-Lake-Refresh CPU models (15 W ULV series). Technically identical to the previous Kaby-Lake GPU called HD Graphics 620.

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
i7-8565U: Whiskey Lake based low power quad-core processor (technically identical to Kaby Lake but produced in a further improved 14nm++ process). The four cores are clocked between 1.8 and 4.6 GHz (Turbo Boost) and support HyperThreading.
Intel Core i5:
i5-8265U: Whiskey Lake based low power quad-core processor (technically identical to Kaby Lake but produced in a further improved 14nm++ process). The four cores are clocked between 1.6 and 3.9 GHz (Turbo Boost) and support HyperThreading.
Intel Ice Lake:
i7-1065G7: Ice Lake-based quad-core processor for thin and light laptops. The four cores are clocked at 1.3 GHz to 3.9 GHz and should offer 18% more IPC (instructions per clock) than the previous generations (and therefore partly close the clock speed gap). Produced on first-gen 10 nm Intel process.
i5-1035G4: A low-power, Ice Lake family processor (SoC) featuring 4 cores, 8 threads, 6 MB of L3 cache and the Iris Plus G4 (48 EUs) iGPU. This Core i5 saw the light of day in H2 2019; it is designed for use in highly portable consumer laptops. The CPU cores run at 1.1 GHz to 3.7 GHz. The Sunny Cove microarchitecture that is in use here is notable for several improvements over Skylake including support for new technologies, new instruction sets and fast LPDDR4-3733 RAM. There is no PCIe 4 support here, however.
Intel Tiger Lake:
i7-1165G7: An upper mid-range, quad-core processor of Tiger Lake product family. The i7 is designed for use in ultra-light (yet actively cooled) laptops; it is manufactured on Intel's third-gen 10 nm process marketed as SuperFin. The CPU cores run at 2.8 GHz (base clock speed @ 28 W TDP) to 4.7 GHz (single-core Boost frequency). This i7 features the 96 EU Intel Iris Xe G7 iGPU; it was the second-fastest CPU of TGL-UP3 line-up when Intel initially launched the series in 2020.
i5-1135G7: A quad-core, mid-range processor of Tiger Lake product family designed for use in ultra-light laptops. The i5 is manufactured on Intel's second-gen 10 nm process marketed as SuperFin and features an 80 EU Iris Xe G7 iGPU. Core i5-1135G7 has a base clock speed of 2.4 GHz as long as it is allowed to consume 28 watts.

14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.
