The Asus TUF Gaming F15 is once again available for only $1,049.99 at Best Buy. As we noted back in June, this price is the lowest the TUF Gaming F15 has ever gotten to. So, if you were eyeing up the machine but couldn’t pull the trigger last month, now could be the right time.
Specs-wise, the Asus TUF Gaming F15 is a mid-range laptop through and through with its 140 W RTX 4070 laptop GPU, a 10-core Core i7-13620H CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and 1 TB of storage. While not the brightest at 300 nits, the 15.6-inch panel on offer is plenty enough for gaming with its FHD resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB coverage, and Nvidia G-Sync support.
Moreover, the laptop also rocks a large 90 Wh battery and a 720p webcam. The port situation also looks pretty healthy with:
- One Thunderbolt 4
- Two Type-A
- An HDMI 2.1
- One Type-C
- An RJ45 ethernet jack
- A 3.5 mm combo jack
Before we move on to discuss the performance, it is important to address that the stability issues plaguing the 13th/14th-gen Raptor Lake chips appear to only affect desktop and mobile HX parts. So, the Core i7-13620H inside the TUF Gaming F15 shouldn’t cause any trouble.
Performance-wise, the Asus TUF Gaming F15 should deliver more than 60 FPS+ in AAA titles thanks to the powerful Core i7-13620H and the 140 W RTX 4070 laptop as shown by our benchmarks. For instance, F1 24 can be played at more than 200 FPS at FHD/high settings using the RTX 4070 laptop, while Skull & Bones hits close to 100 FPS with the same settings.
Long story short, with a user rating of 4.7/5, the Asus TUF Gaming F15 on sale is a compelling option for budget-conscious gamers who don’t want to sacrifice performance.
