Reviews for the Asus TUF FX705DY-AU072
The ASUS TUF Gaming FX705DY is an all red affair with its AMD APU and GPU. The device handles all modern games smoothly on its matte 17.3-inch screen display, which load quickly thanks to its NVMe SSD. The FX705DY even has good battery life. Read on to find out if the device has any shortcomings and how it performs in our rigorous tests.

The Asus TUF FX705 AMD Edition is a decently capable gaming laptop for close to Rs 60,000. The big 17.3-inch display justifies the price of the laptop alone while the AMD chips are capable enough to deliver a decent gaming experience. However, the rest of the laptop isn't impressive and AMD's driver issues make me recommend the slightly pricier TUF FX504 over the FX705 AMD edition. However, for less than Rs 70,000, the compromises you can live with.

The Asus TUF Gaming FX705DY is loaded with some sturdy design and the display looks good, though the glitches were mood spoiler. You will face no trouble using it as a daily driver, however, modern graphics games do not go well with this laptop. That said, if you want to some esports games and want to enjoy the big screen, then you can consider this as an option, otherwise, there are other options available in the market as well.

AMD Radeon RX 560X (Laptop): Renamed Radeon RX 560 with slightly altered clock speeds. Offers 1024 shader cores and a usual clock speed of 1175 - 1275 MHz.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

This large display size is used for laptops which are mainly intended for an use on a desk.
Large display-sizes allow higher resolutions. So, details like letters are bigger. On the other hand, the power consumption is lower with small screen diagonals and the devices are smaller, more lightweight and cheaper.
» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.2.7 kg:
In former years, this weight was representative for laptops with a 14-16 inch display-diagonal. Nowadays, 17 inch laptops weigh less than that.

In the notebook sector, Asus had a global market share of about 11% from 2014-2016, making it the fourth largest laptop manufacturer. In the smartphone sector, Asus is not among the Top 5 and has only a small market share (as of 2016).
75.45%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
