Aside from the dot-matrix display, the ROG Zephyrus G14 is a rather good notebook. It manages thermals well, the fan noise isn’t extreme and the Mux Switch is a great feature that we’re glad to see isn’t exclusive to this notebook. The battery life and fast charging is great especially here in South Africa where the electricity situation is constantly changing. Even the price isn’t overly bad although again, that dot-matrix display isn’t something we feel is necessary and to our mind, only serves to inflate the price. With that having been said, the ROG Zephyrus G14 is a well appointed gaming notebook that performs incredibly well in gaming. You could also throw some video, audio and photo editing at this notebook but we’d recommend an external display as even with a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio, the display is on the small side for that use case. Our conclusion then is that if you’re a fan of smaller notebooks (and even if you aren’t), the ROG Zephyrus G14 is well worth a look.

They say that lightning doesn’t strike twice. With the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2022, though, I would be willing to say that the adage would suit it, were it not for the odd protrusions that are preventing it from fitting into the mould. Firstly, I like the fact that, despite transitioning it to an AMD Advantage Edition machine, the battery life of the G14 2022 is nearly identical to what its predecessor was capable of. I say nearly, but honestly, that is just me nitpicking at the little imperfections. Second, the performance of the Radeon RX 6800S is, once again, very impressive and not what I had initially expected. The only issue I have with the G14 2022, then, is the weird blanking out of the display that I mentioned earlier that would greet first-time users of the laptop. Again, it’s not an unfixable issue, but it is nevertheless still an annoying one. In any case, at RM9999, the G14 2022 is also one of the more “affordable” 14-inch gaming laptops on the market, which is truly a rarity in this day and age.

The Asus ROG G14 2022 is a solid recommendation for anyone looking to buy a compact, powerful machine that can transform into a gaming station on demand, and do it with some flair. I wouldn’t recommend G14 2021 users to upgrade to this, as there aren’t enough changes in here to justify a switch from last year’s model. However, if you were planning to buy your first gaming laptop or upgrading from a much older machine, then the new hardware, MUX switch and IR webcam addition make the ROG Zephyrus G14’s 2022 avatar better than ever. At a starting price of Rs 1,46,900 though, the G14 isn’t exactly value-for-money for the performance alone (the exact variant we reviewed is priced at Rs 1,91,990). However, if you can spend the bucks for the quality and aesthetics of an ROG gaming laptop, this pricey affair will be worth it.

ASUS is selling the new Zephyrus G14 at a starting price of Rs 1,46,990, and for the price, the laptop comes equipped with the Ryzen 7 6800HS and the Radeon RX 6700S. Unsurprisingly, the laptop is a pricey affair and you’ll have to shell out even more bucks if you want to opt for the Radeon RX 6800S variant. That said, I would advise against the same as the upgraded GPU will only offer a 5-10% boost in gaming performance, whilst bringing up the price by quite some margin. Regardless, the Zephyrus G14 makes for a good buy and is a solid option for gamers looking for a compact, powerful and good-looking machine.

The 16:10 QHD display along with its high brightness is one of the G14’s key benefits and unique selling points. Moreover, the colours out of the box fit for those who need to do some multimedia design or edits. For the gamers out there, the high refresh rate of 120 Hz is probably one of the selling points for them with the benefit of the quad-speakers for a fully immersive experience. If you're after a compact multi-purpose laptop in the sub $2000 price range, the 2022 ROG Zephyrus G14 is definitely an option to consider. Compared to the previous G14s, this 2022 model offers refined looks and ergonomics, better inputs and ports, superior screen options, and a webcam, as well as more capable hardware with an updated thermal module. However, it should come as no surprise that squeezing powerful specs inside a compact chassis leads to high internal and external temperatures, especially on an AMD-exclusive platform, so make sure to understand what to expect from this notebook before jumping on it.

Needless to say, everything on this laptop is awesome except for selected games that may have a mini stuttering motion issue. There aren't many gaming laptops like it due to the gaming aesthetic design especially the AniMe Matrix on the cover lid. But would I recommend the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2022)? Well, I think that entirely depends on your budget. In Malaysia, the starting price is a staggering RM8499 which is even higher than the predecessor's highest variant by RM800. If you want the best variant, it's RM9999! You can blame our weak Ringgit currency and the global chip shortage for that.

AMD's Ryzen 9 6900HS proved to be a strong performer overall. In the CPU-centric tests, it wasn’t able to overtake Intel’s latest Alder Lake-based 12th Gen chips in most tests, but keep in mind the 6900HS is a mid-range Ryzen 6000-series processor and its inside a 14” notebook here. Even still, it competes well with the latest laptops on the market, and in its default configuration it does so at lower power levels. AMD's new Radeon RX 6800S also competes well, typically trading blows with GeForce RTX 3070 / RTX 3060 mobile-equipped systems. Perhaps the unsung hero of the performance story is the Radeon 680M iGPU. In a system like the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14, the discrete GPU will be put to use in gaming and heavy workloads, so the Radeon 680M will only be tasked with lighter-duty stuff. But as our tests showed on the previous page, the Radeon 680M is very powerful for an integrated GPU. It blew Intel’s Xe graphics out of the water and smoked the desktop Vega-based variant in the Ryzen 7 5700G. This bodes extremely well for future thin-and-light laptops that won’t have discrete GPUs.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 G402 is better than its predecessor in a lot of ways as we found in our review for it in the Philippines, though there are trade-offs to its newfound power. It’s certainly going to be more expensive – by how much, we don’t know as of yet. Battery life isn’t as good as last-gen too, which should make potential owners wary of long trips without a chance to top up on juice. That being said, if you’re looking for a visually striking gaming PC that can easily handle titles coming out this year, then the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 G402 should be the laptop for you.

The battery life situation means the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 can’t quite stand side by side with the MacBook Pro. There still isn’t anything that can match Apple’s M1, M1 Pro and M1 Mac laptops for power and stamina combined. However, if you are a gamer and you want a laptop you can carry around with you without giving yourself a hernia, the Asus Zephryus G14 is the best option you have right now. Its Ryzen CPU and Radeon RX GPU combine to deliver a superbly rounded performance and the price undermines both Windows and Apple rivals.

Bottom point, if you’re after a compact multi-purpose laptop in the sub $2000 price range, the 2022 ROG Zephyrus G14 is definitely an option to consider. I’ve debated whether this merits a 4.5 rating or not, and ended up going with 4.5, as to me everything’s right except for the internal temperatures and the exhausts positioned under the screen. I haven’t factored in the screen brightness bug, as I expect it to be figured out in due time. Just make sure you understand its advantages and its drawbacks around the AMD-exclusive platform and what’s going to happen when you ut powerful hardware inside a compact footprint. If you’re not OK with higher thermals or the particularities of the AMD graphics chips, the Blade 14 could be the 14-inch compact alternative to consider, and you’ll most likely get a better-balanced product with 15-inch devices such as the Zephyrus G15 or the Blade 15. This wraps up my initial review on the 2022 Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, Looking for your feedback down below, as well as questions, as I’ll follow up this review with a couple more detailed articles in the days and weeks to come.

The 2022 ROG Zephyrus G14 is a great gaming laptop, delivering a potent blend of performance, portability and power efficiency. The bright 16:10 120Hz display makes games and movies look great, while the speakers sound good enough that you won't feel compelled to use headphones. But this new model can't match the incredible battery efficiency of the old Zephyrus G14, perhaps because of its revamped design, upgraded internals or brighter display. Whatever the reason, the 2022 ROG Zephyrus G14 no longer offers the positively outlandish battery life of its predecessor, though its still far longer-lived than most gaming laptops. And while it's now got a webcam, the quality of images it captures is so low that you won't enjoy using it. Still, this remains a small, slick gaming machine that delivers performance competitive with the best 14-inch gaming laptops on the market.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 for 2022 was the first system announced that would adhere to the 2022 version of AMD's Advantage design framework, as the original G14 model did when it launched in 2020. That means it uses AMD's latest technologies. This year, much of AMD's chip updates aim to increase the battery life of gaming laptops while boosting performance by directing more power where and when it's needed. These include the Ryzen 9 6900HS low-power/high-performance processor for small gaming laptops and either the AMD Radeon RX 6700S or RX 6800S, graphics processors targeting the same low-power-yet-high-performance tier. But the catch seems to be it's either-or: either high performance or low power. And that's not just for graphics-intensive tasks, where I'd typically expect to see the tradeoff.

If you want to set it and forget it, unless you're setting and forgetting while plugged in, this probably isn't the system for you. AMD and Asus may have put all that work into making it "automatic," but it's still not automatic enough. It's possible the curves just need some fine-tuning -- though I retested with BIOS and profile settings in early April -- or that I prioritize battery life a little lower than most. I'll also note that it hasn't shipped yet, so who knows what other optimizations will be made to the version that ships.

I wanted to love the new Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, but it has one too many flaws. The display is a big thing for me, and the brightness killed my hopes instantly. I was less concerned about the graphics, but it’s sad to see that it doesn’t live up to some of its competitors. If you are willing to trade battery life, the Alienware m15 Ryzen Edition is a way better alternative for great performance and a bright display. However, you simply cannot beat the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14’s battery life, design, and bumpin’ speakers. It has its place for sure.

After years of looking at hulking gaming rigs that were only portable in the sense that they had built-in displays, we're still astonished at the raw power that Asus has crammed into the slim profile of the latest ROG Zephyrus G14. It was an impressive feat when the system was introduced back in 2020, but the laptop maker's partnership with AMD has exceeded our expectations and put the competition on notice. Regardless of what benchmark or game we threw at it, the Zephyrus G14 delivered, often with category-leading performance that topped the Alienware X14. In gaming, it went above and beyond mere playability, showing serious gaming chops that belie the first impressions of the thin design and fancy lid. And with its 10-hour battery life and impressively low weight, it's portable enough to take anywhere. If you want a gaming laptop without the usual limitations, the 2022 Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is the one to get.

We can't stress enough just how much the original Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 wowed everyone in January of 2020. At the time, it easily destroyed Intel's hulking 9th-gen gaming notebooks by offering far more performance in a very compact and very light laptop. As arguably the first AMD premium gaming laptop of the day, it also helped cement that an AMD laptop could be as good or even better than its Intel-based rivals. Today, the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 faces far stiffer competition, but its improved in-your-face AniMe Matrix, impressive AMD CPU and GPU combo, and far better 16:10 panel and webcam honestly removes any issues we had with the original version. It's certainly not a low-cost alternative like the original G14, with the new model sporting a price tag of $2,500, but you're getting one of the smallest, fastest, and literally flashiest laptops we've ever seen. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 punches far above its weight class. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14's customizable AniMe Matrix lid is sure to turn heads.

Gaming performance from the Radeon RX 6800S GPU was strong, especially when crammed into this 14-inch form factor and aided by SmartShift Max. You shouldn’t have any problems pushing even AAA titles well past 60 FPS when running at 1080p. And a reasonable QHD+ gaming experience is achievable too, particularly if you’re happy to drop a bit below the highest image quality settings. On the downsides, there are some to highlight. The price will undoubtedly be very high – probably around £2.5K – but that is somewhat justified. Elsewhere, a few surfaces do get hot to touch under sustained load, there’s no Thunderbolt 4 support which is disappointing at this price point, particularly when comparing Intel competitors, and ASUS’ chosen SSD is vastly underpowered for this calibre of laptop. Overall though, delivering great performance from the new AMD hardware, excellent battery life at 10 hours of PCMark 10, and a superb design implementation. There’s a heck of a lot to like from the 2022 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14.

The Zephyrus G14 is still an incredibly compelling 14-inch notebook, especially if you’re aiming for one of the cheaper models. It’s powerful, slim and it finally has a webcam. But it’s also lost much of what made the 2020 model so special. I suppose that’s progress, though. ASUS kicked off a trend, but now it’s racing to keep up with the competition.

The Razer Blade 14 is another popular choice for ultralight gaming laptops, although the comparatively specced model with the Ryzen 9 5900HX processor and Nvidia RTX 3070 graphics card will set you back $2,199 while offering slightly worse performance and a mere seven-hour battery life. If you’re just looking for a powerful ultrabook, the MacBook Pro 14 M1 Pro is $2,499, but its general performance is on par with the Zephyrus G14, it offers a GPU powerful enough for light-to-moderate gaming, and it has ten hours of battery life. A lot of laptops try to emulate the ROG Zephyrus G14’s strong points: performance, portability, style, and long battery life. However, the Zephyrus G14 is among the best all-around. Its biggest flaw is arguably the 720p webcam, but that’s a small sacrifice to make for a stellar gaming experience and great productivity experience in one lightweight chassis. Frankly, it’s the kind of gaming laptop that this picky PC writer would buy.

It's HERE! The 2022 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 with it's ALL-AMD hardware (6800HS + RX 6800S) packs a punch! Plus ASUS Fixes all my complaints from last year... but is it enough to upgrade?

All in all, this Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402 is a collection of small refinements of the previous generation, all adding up to an overall improved product. I appreciate the grippier rubber feet, the 180-screen design, the hidden status LEDs, and the fact there’s now a camera at the top of the main display, alongside the updated inputs, screen options, and the more powerful specs with a more advanced thermal module. Still, I’ll need to take this through a proper spin before I can draw any conclusions on performance, as I’m curious where this positions itself against the Nvidia-based competition available with other powerful 14-inchers, as well as how the cooling design handles sustained loads in terms of temperatures and noise levels. If it checks these boxes as well, I expect the 2022 G14 to be highly competitive once more, so I sure am excited about this update. Stay around for our review in the weeks to come, and in the meantime, I’d love to hear your thoughts on this Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402R series.

Review of the 2022 ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14. They completely changed the design for the better and it uses the new Ryzen 6000 series cpu. It's a much better gaming laptop, finally has a webcam and the battery life is amazing. But it's not perfect and theres a few things to watch out for!

The Asus Zephyrus G14, just like the 2020 version, is an absolute stunner of a gaming laptop. Its a wonder to look at, and it's light enough that you'll toss it in your bag and forget it's even there. It's the kind of gaming laptop that you'll be able to work into your daily life without having to worry about any added back pain or judgement from people at the coffee shop. However, with how good Intel Alder Lake-based laptops are right now, the performance on offer does leave a bit to be desired – at least when it comes to raw CPU performance. We will be continuing our testing suite from here, and we can't wait to see where this laptop ultimately lands.

The long and short of it is: You can get a G15 for way less. If you’d prefer a 14-incher, you can get a Blade 14 for way less. While these have 16:9 screens, less RAM, and no virtual pets, they’re better in the area that’s most important in a gaming laptop: frame rates in GPU-intensive games. If you want the 16:10 and the pretty lights, you might also consider the Zephyrus M16. It doesn’t offer quite as much in terms of raw graphics power, but it came quite close on the titles tested here, and it’s currently available for literally $1,000 less. This high-end G14 is really in the Blade 15 Advanced’s price category, and that’s a tougher class than it’s occupied in the past. The G14 has a nearly flawless chassis and a powerful CPU that may be worth $1,599, but you shouldn’t spend $2,500. To earn that price tag, it needs to bring better performance.

I have no regrets buying this Zephyrus G14. It really checks off a lot of boxes for me and the value offered by this configuration is tremendous. I never had any of the previous models, so I can’t make any direct comparisons like Andrei already has. But from a fresh perspective, I really think this could be the laptop to buy this year. You'll find out why from the detailed review down below.

Like I said at the very beginning of the article, I have no regrets buying this laptop. It really checks a lot of boxes off for me and the value is tremendous. I never had any of the previous models, so I can’t make any direct comparisons like Andrei already has. But from a fresh perspective, I really think this could be the laptop to buy this year. What makes it stand out is the overall design. The all-white look makes it one of the most unique laptops out there. It’s also very sturdy, has a huge trackpad, and a good keyboard as well. Add in a near-perfect screen and you pretty much have a solid answer for all the most commonly used components. Then take into consideration the improvements over previous models. There’s now an IR webcam, better contrast on the keys, better-placed speakers, and a microSD card reader. These were all common complaints on the last models, that get fixed in this one. There’s still a little room for improvement though. The SSD for example could have actually had PCIe 4.0 speeds.

Despite or even because of its small size, the Asus Zephyrus has been one of the best gaming laptops in the past few years. The current generation in particular shines in many respects. In review is a model with a Ryzen 7 6800HS and a Radeon RX 6700S.

The 2023 Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is the first laptop with AMD’s new Phoenix mobile processor, which is combined with the fast GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop and a 165 Hz Mini-LED panel in a compact 14-inch laptop.

For my money, the Zephyrus G14 is one of the best gaming laptops we’ve tested at Tom’s Guide. When it comes to high-end performance, few competitors put together such a compelling package as this new ROG laptop. Throw the best Steam games at this G14 and you’ll be met with stellar performance time after time. This laptop’s screen resolution complements its beefy specs, resulting in gaming experiences that feel as smooth as they look sharp. This is hardly an affordable unit, but in terms of high-performance gaming laptops, it’s as appealing as any similarly-priced alternative I’ve seen this year. As for competitors, the Razer Blade 14 is another outstanding gaming laptop. This powerhouse machine comes with a blistering 240Hz QHD panel, and you can pair it with a RTX 4070 for $2,700, which hits a nice sweet spot between price vs performance. If you don't mind something a little bigger, the excellent Asus ROG Strix G18 is also well worth considering.

ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023) redefines what it means to have a high-performance gaming laptop. In the past, you had to settle for a large, bulky laptop to get maximum power. The new offering from ASUS delivers top-of-the-line specs in an ultraportable form factor that’s convenient to use. It’s pure magic! ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023) also impresses with its stunning Mini LED display, powerful speaker sound, and customizable design with LED lighting. If I were in the market for a laptop, my choice would undoubtedly be this one. While the new ASUS laptop isn’t perfect, its high price is indeed a drawback compared to other laptops, despite the presence of RGB backlighting for each key. The laptop’s battery life is also not extensive enough, limiting its appeal for productivity tasks. However, the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023) remains the best option if you need the perfect balance of portability and high performance. This laptop, as before, stands out as one of the most powerful and refined in its class.

If you want a small laptop that can run demanding games at 2K resolution on an HDR display and last six hours on battery power, this laptop is the best it gets. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 doesn’t hold out on aesthetics, graphics performance, portability, or build quality—but it is expensive. The no-holds-barred model with an Nvidia RTX 4090 graphics card costs $3,299. If you want something cheaper, there are a couple of laptops that also have great performance and battery life. The sleek Razer Blade 14 has almost eight hours of battery life, the same processor as the Zephyrus G14, and a respectable Nvidia RTX 4070 graphics card for $2,699. If it’s only performance you’re after, and you’re okay with something bulkier, there’s the Asus ROG Strix Scar 17. If you’re having trouble deciding between the various Zephyrus G14 models, the best value among them are the RTX 4060 and RTX 4070 models, which retail at $1,599 and $1,849 respectively.

The ROG Zephyrus G14 remains one of the better compact all-purpose laptops that you can buy today, especially if you're in the market for a sub-15-inch device. This generation is available with much more powerful hardware than in the past, but that comes with a steep price as well. Mid-range configurations are still the better-value buys imo, but even with those you'll have to accept that this computer runs hot with demanding gaming and work sessions. There's just no way around physics.

It's expensive, but the Zephyrus G14 pulls off a very tricky balancing act by squeezing high-end gaming performance into a 14-inch laptop that is still admirably compact and lightweight. You're paying extra for the engineering that makes this possible, but if you do need a high-performance gaming laptop that can also fit comfortably into a backpack or travel bag, then the Zephyrus G14 is hard to beat.

Previously you’d have to settle for a large, cumbersome laptop for ultimate power, and yet the G14 offers industry-leading specs inside an ultra-portable frame that can be picked up comfortably with one hand – that’s pure magic. The G14 impresses in other areas too, with a stunning Mini LED display, loud booming speakers and a design that can be personalised with LED lighting. If I was going to buy myself a laptop, this would be my first choice. It’s by no means perfect though. The price is really steep compared to other laptops, despite lacking per-key RGB lighting. Battery life is poor too, limiting its appeal for productivity tasks, especially when compared to the Razer Blade 14.

ROG Zephyrus G14 2023 is a 14-inch gaming laptop that is great for hybrid use, both for tasks demanding speed and graphics, and for everyday work with office documents. But such versatility has its own peculiarities, in particular, you should not count on battery life for the entire working day. For a gaming laptop this isn't critical, but work tasks may require you to work longer hours away from power outlets, so it's something to consider. Well, of course, a powerful platform and generally top features in a relatively compact model will not come cheap, the recommended price of the test configuration of the laptop is UAH 146,999.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 is shaping up to be one of the most impressive laptops that debuted at CES 2023, with a thin and light form factor that belies some serious firepower. It has all the bells and whistles of one of the best gaming laptops for this year if it manages to go the distance when its performance is officially put to the test. And though the AniMe Matrix feature isn’t anything practical, it’s fun and attention-grabbing enough to be worth investing in. Especially the concept of playing simple games on it — imagine the TikToks!

After quite a delay, the first 4 nm chips are being brought onto the market. We finally got our hands on the new Phoenix series Ryzen 9 7940HS in order to test the processor's performance and check out its efficiency levels using different power levels. Was the wait worth it?
Last year's Radeon 680M was much faster than Intel's iGPU and AMD are looking to further extend this lead with the release of their new Radeon 780M. We have received our first device equipped with the new 780M and have put it through a variety of benchmarks - can these high expectations be met? Update: Radeon 780M benchmarks with LPDDR5-6400 RAM

I think at this point in time, it is safe to say that when ASUS first set out to make the ROG Zephyrus G14 lineup a reality, it didn’t have to look too far for inspiration to build what is essentially a wonder of modern technology. Four generations into it, the G14 2023 continues to serve as a template basically what all 14-inch gaming laptops should aspire to. Having said that and to be fair, the G14 2023 unit I have didn’t necessarily perform at its peak all the time, given the weird bug that prevented me from adjusting my display brightness. But, in spite of having to take some hardline measures (read: resetting the laptop) to bring it back to working order, I believe it is a one-off issue and it is unlikely that you will have to go through this hurdle as I did. At a starting price of RM7,499, you could say that the G14 2023 is certainly more affordable than its predecessor but having said that, the actual SRP of the SKU with the RTX 4060 is still something of a mystery, and that is a point that is reflected on ASUS Malaysia’s product.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023) is a tragic tale of love and loss — mostly the loss part, the love was so 2020. The gaming laptop should be good at gaming, but it’s below average in most cases. And how Asus threw away its stellar battery life is a mystery to me. If you are looking for something with a little more power at the same size, consider the MSI Stealth 14 Studio. Unfortunately, it’s hard to recommend the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 — there are better gaming laptops out there at a similar price.

The Zephyrus G14 is a very good gaming laptop. We honestly do not have much to criticize about the Zephyrus G14, except for the fact that the laptop gets warm and you can not hold it on your lap. Battery life could have been a bit better, and the size of the 14-inch screen can be a limiting factor for some people. But other than that, the ROG Zephyrus G14 does not disappoint for the price you pay. The base variant with a Ryzen 7 and RTX 4050 starts at ₹1,49,990 and goes up to a Ryzen 9 with RTX 4080, which costs around ₹2,66,990. Depending on your needs, you can choose the specifications of your laptop. Our device is the top-end variant, and all our opinions are based on it. In this price range, there is the Lenovo Legion Pro series, the Acer Predator series, the MSI Stealth series, and the Dell Alienware M series.

It’s definitely a premium investment now, compared to what you could get for PHP 100,000 or less back in 2020. But keep in mind that this investment is one that will pay off for those in need one of the best performers in 2023 for a highly portable gaming and creative workflow. The Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 (GA402XI) impresses on almost every front and is hard to beat in the 14-inch gaming category. If your budget allows for it, this is the gaming laptop to get in this form factor.

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 GA402 (2023) is an impressive device. We purchased a modest configuration with a 1600p IPS panel, a Ryzen 7 7735HS, and a GeForce RTX 4050. Even with this hardware, the notebook performs excellently. The machine can be dead silent for daily usage if you select the “Silent” preset in the Armoury Crate app, and it transforms into a true gaming laptop with the application of the other two power modes. Note that the fans create a lot of noise in Turbo mode. The 1600p IPS display (TL140ADXP02-0 (TMX1401)) fully covers the sRGB gamut, and we achieved 98% DCP-P3 coverage. The unit is also PWM-free, has wide viewing angles, high maximum brightness, and a good contrast ratio. It becomes very color-accurate with our “Gaming and Web design” profile, reaching an average dE score of just 1.0, a great improvement compared to the out-of-the-box value of 2.5. We have zero complaints regarding the input devices. The keyboard is comfortable for both work and gaming, and the touchpad is smooth and fast.

14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.
