We've already reported on the NUC 15 Pro, and now Asus has expanded its lineup with the new NUC 15 Pro Plus. Unsurprisingly, the mini PC stays true to its original concept but is now available with new processors such as the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H. Buyers can also choose the Intel Core Ultra 7 265H, Ultra 5 235H, 255H or 225H. The fastest CPU option has a performance of up to 99 TOPS in AI applications (CPU, GPU and NPU combined).
The Asus mini PC further measures roughly 5.7 x 4.4 x 1.6 inches and comes with two memory slots, which support up to 96GB DDR5-6400 RAM. Users can also install one M.2 2280 and one M.2 2242 SSD, both are connected via four PCIe 4.0 lanes. Alternatively, external storage devices can be hooked up via USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Thunderbolt 4. The two Thunderbolt 4 ports also support DisplayPort 2.1. Moreover, there are two HDMI 2.1 and USB 2.0 ports. The Core Ultra 9 configuration of the NUC 15 Pro+ has a 150W power supply and uses an old-school barrel power connector.
Wired 2.5 Gbps Ethernet is available, as is WiFi 7 for fast wireless connectivity. As usual, the NUC 15 Pro+ can be easily mounted to the back of a monitor thanks to an included VESA mount. The mini PC has just launched and is not widely available just yet, but some European retailers have already listed the barebone SKU with an Intel Core Ultra 5 225H for roughly €600. Prices in the US will supposedly start at $560.
